Spun Yarn

Staple fibres are spun or twisted to produce a singular, spun yarn. Spun yarns can be made up of single kind of fibre, or a blend of fibres that are both natural and man-made. The thickness and length of the fibres used will determine the overall thickness of the spun yarn. The shorter the fibre, the more fibres needed to be spun together to create yarn with enough strength to weave fabric.
